Our History

Due to the rapid growth in the seniors’ population in Vancouver, there was an urgent need for a culturally appropriate care facility for Chinese-speaking seniors. In 1995, the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Multi-Level Care Society was incorporated with the purpose of establishing linguistically and culturally appropriate care for those seniors in our community. It has now developed into a provider of quality residential care and health services.

Our Philosophy of Care – Person & Family Centred Care

At S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Multi-Level Care Society we are committed to foster a culture of safety, Eden Alternatives, and Person & Family Centred Care (PFCC).

The PFCC is our Philosophy of Care which:

  • Focuses on creating and nurturing mutually beneficial partnerships among staff, residents and clients, and families
  • Recognizes that residents, clients and their families are essential allies for quality, safety, education of health professionals, research, facility design, and policy development
  • Guides all aspects of planning, delivery and evaluation of services

Our Team

Our caring frontline staff provides excellent care and support to seniors at various stages of life, ensuring seniors live meaningful and full lives to the best of their capability.

Our committed interdisciplinary team is a unique blend of tested and experienced professionals working together in providing an enriched quality of life for seniors being served by SUCCESS MLC. They provide individualized, high quality, and safe senior-centered care.

Our dedicated and enthusiastic management team is goal oriented and supports a positive culture of learning and growing.

Our devoted volunteers support and provide a wide variety of services, such as companionship, friendly visits, assisting in recreation programs and exercises.

Our Achievement

We are proud of our achievement of excellence in seniors care.

Our programs are accredited by Accreditation Canada since 2005. The most recent accreditation survey was in 2023 and we have received exemplary standing for the last three accreditation cycles.
