Youth Employment Connect – Training for Jobs

Youth explore and advance their careers in the growing marketing and sales or information and communication technology sectors of BC. Our integrated program offers three weeks of skills training along with coaching and financial supports.

Services We Offer

  • In-person and online services
  • Three weeks of training on technical, soft, and job search skills
  • Four weeks of coaching and job search support
  • Sixteen weeks of follow-up support
  • Financial supports for transportation, child care, and criminal record checks
  • Financial bonus for completing the program
  • Wage subsidy for hiring employers

Service Eligibility

  • Between the ages of 17 to 29 (inclusive)
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person
  • Unemployed or underemployed
  • Not a full-time student
  • Not participating in another provincial or federal labour market program
  • Resident of Metro Vancouver
  • Have a background or interest in the marketing and sales sector or information and communication technology sector
