Vancouver, BC – S.U.C.C.E.S.S. issues the following statement regarding recent bigoted remarks in the Lower Mainland: “Immigrants, refugees, and people from diverse cultures and faiths have a lauded and well recognized history of contribution to Canadian society. Our communities continue to thrive and excel from the inclusion of all backgrounds and all walks of life. Divisive behaviour and bigoted statements have no place in Canada’s vision for an equitable and inclusive society. We must remain united as a society, and continue to be guided by our values of equality and openness.”
Signatory organizations supported the above statement:
· S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
· The Centre For Israel and Jewish Affairs
· The Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver
