FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The 21st Annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raises $122,000 to support community programs

Richmond, B.C. – S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation is delighted to announce that its 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club, successfully raised $122,000 to sustain vital community programs for another year.

This year’s tournament welcomed 130 philanthropic golfers committed to making a difference. Proceeds from the event will directly support S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs that receive little or no government funding, including services for immigrants, youth, women, families, and seniors. These programs include counselling, seniors’ activities, and multilingual crisis phone Help Lines.

“The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament has enabled our agency to continue its work, contributing more than $1.5 million over the past 20 years,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation.

“We are deeply grateful to our event founders and supporters, whose commitment to service has allowed S.U.C.C.E.S.S. to provide unfunded and underfunded programs to those in need,” said Brandon Hui, Board Chair, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation.

Tournament Co-Chairs Jeff Louie and Lewis Fan, event Co-Founder Linda Wong and 2024 Miss Chinese Vancouver Shania Fu, expressed their appreciation to all participants for their dedication to supporting S.U.C.C.E.S.S. services in the community.
