S.U.C.C.E.S.S. presents its 2023-2024 impact report and welcomes new Board members

Vancouver, BC—S.U.C.C.E.S.S. held its Annual General Meeting on September 29, where we welcomed our returning Society Board Chair Doug Purdie, new Board members. We congratulate the newly elected Society board members namely: Pall Beesla, Ilda Brazinha, Jonathan Do and Dr.Janet Kow. “We are thrilled to have their expertise on board, to provide strategic directions to our agency in the areas of newcomer settlement services, affordable housing, and seniors care. Together, we will continue to advance S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’s mission to empower people on their Canadian journey,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation.

Choo extended her heartfelt appreciation to the departing Board members Terry Yung, Erin Brandt, Rebecca Clapperton Law, Lauren Liang, Helen Song, Terry Wong and Kathleen Wong, expressing sincere gratitude for their incredible contributions. “The valuable input and dedication of all our Board Directors have been instrumental in shaping the direction of our agency, and we are incredibly grateful for their positive influence.”

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. released its Annual Impact Report (2023-24) showcasing services to over 82,801 unique clients in the past fiscal year, delivering 182,692 client services. “It was truly an amazing team effort, and we couldn’t have achieved such incredible results without the support of our dedicated staff and the community,” Choo said.
