49th Annual Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala Raises $600,000 to Support Critical Community Services

49th Annual Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala Raises $600,000 to Support Critical Community Services

Vancouver, B.C. – The 49th annual Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala raised more than $600,000 on Saturday evening, bringing together hundreds of community leaders, philanthropists, and supporters at the Westin Bayshore Hotel to strengthen essential community services across Metro Vancouver.

Proceeds from the Gala will support unfunded and underfunded programs delivered by S.U.C.C.E.S.S., including culturally appropriate seniors’ care, family and youth services, counselling programs, women’s initiatives, and multilingual Help Lines. These programs serve seniors, families, youth, and women across the Lower Mainland.

Held under the theme Secret Garden Soirée, the evening featured fine dining, live and silent auctions, raffles, and performances by Federico Fuoco and special guest Jonathan Wong. A highlight of the evening was the premiere of a three-part impact video sharing the lived experiences of seniors and families navigating isolation, health challenges, and caregiving stress, underscoring the transformative power of community-supported care.

“The stories shared this evening remind us that behind every service is a person, a family, or a senior whose life is strengthened through community care,” said Jason Cheng and Justin Tang 2026, Gala Co-Chair. “The generosity we witnessed ensures these essential programs remain accessible to those who rely on them.”

“S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has walked alongside our community for more than 50 years,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation. “While tonight’s stories focused on seniors’ care, the funds raised will strengthen a broad network of critical programs that individuals and families depend on every day. We are deeply grateful to our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and board members for their continued trust and support”.

“As demand continues to rise and operating costs increase, community support is more critical than ever,” said Brandon Hui, Board Chair of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation. “The Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala plays a vital role in safeguarding dignity, expanding access to care, and ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families are not left behind.”

Funds raised will also support facility upgrades, specialized equipment, and frontline staff, helping ensure the long-term sustainability of programs that receive partial or no government funding.

第49屆中僑星輝夜籌得 $600,000 支持關鍵社區服務

卑詩省溫哥華 — 第49屆中僑星輝夜於週六晚在The Westin Bayshore舉行，匯聚數百位社區領袖、慈善家及支持者，為大溫地區的重要社區服務籌得超過 $600,000 善款。

晚宴籌得的款項將用於支持由中僑互助會提供、但未獲或僅獲部分政府資助的服務項目，包括切合文化需要的長者護理、家庭及青少年服務、輔導服務、婦女支援項目，以及多語言求助熱線。相關服務惠及整個低陸平原地區的長者、家庭、青少年及婦女。

本屆晚宴以「秘境花園」為主題，現場設有精緻晚宴、現場及無聲拍賣、幸運抽獎，以及 Federico Fuoco 與特別嘉賓王梓軒的精彩演出。當晚焦點之一，是首播一套三部曲影響力短片，真實呈現長者及家庭在面對孤立、健康挑戰及照顧壓力時的親身經歷，突顯社區支援如何為他們的人生帶來轉變。
