40th Annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon event raises $354,350.65 to sustain community programs

Vancouver, B.C. – S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon event celebrated its 40th anniversary year with a crowd of over 3000 supporters in Stanley Park this past weekend who joined together to raise $354,350.65 to sustain our community programs.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is thrilled to mark four decades of hosting our Walk with the Dragon community fundraising event this Sunday, July 20, 2025. Walk with the Dragon historically draws several thousand participants and is our largest community-based fundraising event, held in Stanley Park since 1986. Proceeds support essential S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs for families, youth, women, and seniors.

“As we celebrate a S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation milestone—40 years of bringing community together for our Walk in Stanley Park—it is incredibly heartwarming to see so many of our clients, volunteers staff, sponsors and donors show their support for our agency,” said S.U.C.C.E.S.S. CEO Queenie Choo.

The event is led by the longest Dragon in North America – the 100-foot long S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Dragon is carried by 40 martial artists who lead walkers and teams to participate in the three- or seven-kilometer routes through the park. Following the walk, our family-friendly fairgrounds are open to the public, featuring live music, entertainment, activities, giveaways, prizes, carnival games and photo booths.

“The only reason we are able to be here today celebrating an incredible 40 years of our Walk with the Dragon fundraiser is because of the decades of ongoing support of our dedicated donors and vendors who share our vision of mutual aid for the community,” said Foundation Board Chair Jason Lam.

卑詩省溫哥華 – 中僑百萬行於過去週末在士丹利公園舉行並慶祝40週年，共籌得超過$354,350.65，以支持中僑本地社區服務。

中僑互助會非常榮幸地宣布，於2025年7月20日（星期日）慶祝「中僑百萬行」社區籌款活動四十週年。 「中僑百萬行」始於1986 年，歷年來吸引了數千名參與者，是我們最大型的社區籌款活動之一。活動每年在士丹利公園舉辦。所有的籌款將會直接用於支助家庭、青年、婦女和長者的項目。

「過去40 年來，我們透過士丹利公園中僑百萬行活動，團結社區。 在慶祝中僑基金會這個里程碑之際，看到如此多的支持者、義工、員工、贊助商和善長對我們機構的支持，我們感到非常窩心。」中僑互助會及中僑基金會行政總裁周潘坤玲表示。

當日經開幕儀式為金龍點晴之後，北美最長100尺巨龍——中僑金龍 和 40 名武術家帶領 參與者和團隊 圍繞士丹利公園進行三公里或七公里步行。現場亦有老少咸宜的活動，包括現場音樂、娛樂、、贈品、獎品、嘉年華遊戲攤位和照相亭等。

中僑基金會主席 林頌恩表示：「我們今天能夠在這裡慶祝中僑百萬行籌款活動 40 週年，唯一的原因是數十年來我們熱心的善長和贊助商的持續支持，他們與我們有著共同的社區互助願景。」
