2021 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Virtual Gala Raises Over $270,000

Vancouver, BC – On the evening of March 13, 2021, hundreds of supporters came together to raise over $270,000 at the 43rd Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala.
Held virtually for the first time to adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the Gala raised much-needed funds in support of S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’s essential programs for youth, women, families, seniors, and refugees.
“Year after year, I’m overjoyed to see such dedicated support from the community for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. We are thrilled that our Gala was able to move forward virtually so that we could continue this heartfelt community tradition,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation. “I extend my sincere gratitude to all our donors, sponsors, volunteers and board members for their generous contributions in making the event such a resounding accomplishment.”
Hundreds of community and business leaders, donors and sponsors attended an evening of virtual celebrations and entertainment including a performance by Lorretta Chow. Special thanks for greetings from The Right Honourable Justin P.J. Trudeau, P.C., M.P. Prime Minister of Canada, The Honourable Janet Austin OBC Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, The Honourable John Horgan, M.L.A. Premier of British Columbia, and Malcolm Brodie, Mayor of Richmond.
“The support shown to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. continues to amaze us,” said Brandon Hui, Chair of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation. “Many people who share the values of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. came together to support community members who have been significantly impacted by COVID-19.”
“It’s rewarding to contribute to S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’s essential programs,” added Jason Lam and Leon Ng, Co-Chairs of the 2021 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
