2020 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala Focus is Seniors Services
Vancouver, BC – Seniors Services programs with S.U.C.C.E.S.S. will be the primary benefactor of the 2020 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala (Gala) held this upcoming February 29th, 2020 at The Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver.
Building upon the event’s 41-year legacy, the 2020 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala will provide a luxurious night of philanthropy, entertainment and fine dining to well over 800 business and community leaders. The fundraising target for the event is $509,000.
“The continued, overwhelming support and contributions from our generous sponsors and donors have consistently been the driving force in making the Gala a resounding success year after year. We are proud to host the Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala once again and strive to provide essential services in our communities,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation.
With a focus on Seniors Services, this year’s Gala will aim to serve seniors in their journey of aging, by assisting them to live fully and independently, and to maintain and enhance their quality of life.
“We aim to provide excellent and cultural appropriate services to seniors in their various stages of aging,” said Brandon Hui, Chair of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation. “The 2020 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala will commemorate the positive work that S.U.C.C.E.S.S. performs on a daily basis. This year is a Leap Year, so our theme for the upcoming Gala is “One Small Step with S.U.C.C.E.S.S., One Giant Leap for the Community.” The festivities at the Gala will include cocktail receptions, exciting silent and live auctions for glamorous and luxurious items, and West Coast-inspired cuisine. The evening will be capped off with outstanding Canadian talent as well as engaging Chinese performances.”
As a companion activity for with the Gala, raffle ticket sales will bring in much needed funds for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. This year, the total value of raffle prizes reaches over $26,000. Raffle tickets are $5 each, or $50 for a book of tickets. Proceeds from raffle sales also go towards Seniors Services. Gala tickets are $268, $368, $568 and $868 per person, with ten attendees per table. Tickets are on-sale now, and are moving quickly.
Raffle tickets will be available at all S.U.C.C.E.S.S. service centers and the Park Georgia Insurance office.
