2018 Centred Developments S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raises $122,000

September 7, 2018 – Richmond, BC – The 2018 Centred Developments S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raised $122,000 yesterday, for crucial social services and programs offered by S.U.C.C.E.S.S. The organizing committee acknowledges the support of Centred Developments as the tournament’s Title Sponsor and the Chan Family Foundation as its Green Fee & Power Cart Sponsor.
“We give our immense gratitude to every golfer, sponsor and donor for making this year’s event such a great success,” said Brandon Hui and Linda Wong, co-chairs of the 2018 Centred Developments S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament. “All proceeds from the tournament will go to the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Caring for the Community Fund to help maintain and enhance S.U.C.C.E.S.S. services that receive no or insufficient funding from the government, such as programs for immigrants, refugees, youth, women, families and seniors.”
More than 90 golfers participated in yesterday’s tournament. In addition to 18 holes of spectacular golfing, participants took part in a variety of contests such as hole-in-one and a putting contest.
“Since 2005, the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Charity Golf Tournament has raised more than $1 million for S.U.C.C.E.S.S.,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation.  “We are grateful for the community’s longstanding support and thank everyone involved for their contributions.”
