Are you an internationally trained physician interested in practicing in Canada? Join us on Tuesday March 17th, 2026, at 2pm EST for an information session with a representative from the Physician Assessment Centre of Excellence (PACE) in Nova Scotia to learn about Practice Ready Assessment pathways that can help eligible physicians move toward licensure and gain clinical experience in Canada.
PACE offers an assessment program designed for internationally trained physicians with training and practice experience in family medicine or internal medicine. These programs evaluate physicians in real clinical settings and provide an alternative pathway toward medical licensure for those who meet eligibility requirements.
During this session, a PACE representative will provide an overview of the program and explain how the assessment process works. Topics will include:
- The PACE Assessment Program and how it supports internationally trained physicians
- Eligibility criteria for applicants
- Key features of the Office-Based Primary Care Assessment Program vs. the Hospitalist Assessment Program
- Program expectations and participant responsibilities
- The assessment process and what candidates can expect during the evaluation
- Steps following successful completion of the assessment
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the PACE representative and learn more about whether this pathway may be a good fit for their professional goals.
This session is ideal for internationally trained physicians exploring alternative licensure pathways in Canada.
