COVID-19 Education and Vaccination for Immigrant Communities

This free program offers education on COVID-19 and helps pair people with volunteers who speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Farsi to help them register for and receive their COVID-19 vaccinations.

Vaccine Awareness for Immigrant Communities 

This program aims to improve immigrants’ literacy and confidence of vaccines over a life course and reduce their barriers to vaccination. 

This free program is designed to assist newcomers and immigrants especially seniors, parents and children who have language and cultural barriers to access health care services, regardless of their vaccination status. 

Services Eligibilities: 

  • Immigrants (Cantonese, Mandarin or English-speaking) 
  • Priority: seniors (60+), parents/ care givers of children aged 0-12 years 

Services we provide: 

  • Vaccination education: culturally appropriate and updated information of routine and seasonal vaccination 
  • Individual support: Vaccine registration and appointment, transportation to vaccine clinics, language interpretation (Cantonese, Mandarin) at vaccine appointment, accessing vaccine records, reliable health resources navigation 
  • Vaccine clinic
