Who we are

The Community Leadership Initiative (CLI) program empowers youth to design and lead their own civic engagement projects that promote inclusivity and reconciliation. We aim to support participants as they gain a better understanding of themselves and the needs of their communities through interactive workshops and field trips.

What we provide

Regular workshops on various topics such as time management, networking, financial planning, and more.
A microgrant of $2,000 for each cohort to implement a civic engagement project.
Flexible 1:1 support and guidance with project planning and budgeting.
Short-term certificates and training.

Eligibility

Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee Status
Ages 15-30 (inclusive)
Commitment to the 10-month program
