Bob & Michael’s place is a 10-storey building with a mix of micro, studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites, street-level retail and an integrated health centre. The building is a non-smoking environment.

Eligibility

  • 111 suites are available for people who are looking for affordable housing. Rents range from $1,150 to $1,800 per month.
  • 120 suites are available for people on pensions or income assistance.
  • Multiple suites are wheelchair accessible 
  • All residents must be capable of independent living. Medical or physical support is not available at the site. 

Priority will be to those who: 

  • Consideration given to people who live or work in the Downtown Eastside (comprised of Chinatown, Gastown, Industrial Area, Oppenheimer District, Strathcona, Thornton Park and Victory Square). 
  • Live in a community-minded building.
