S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Celebrates a Year of Impact and Welcomes New Board Leadership

Vancouver, B.C. – S.U.C.C.E.S.S., one of Canada’s leading social service organizations, successfully held its Annual General Meeting on September 27, celebrating another year of meaningful impact and welcoming new leadership to its Board of Directors.  

During the meeting, CEO Queenie Choo recognized the dedication and contributions of both outgoing and newly elected Board members, highlighting the importance of strong leadership, collaboration, and community service in advancing the organization’s mission.  

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. paid tribute to outgoing Board Chair Donnie Wing for his exceptional leadership and service to the organization. The organization also expressed gratitude to Board members Bryan Yu and Pall Beesla for their commitment and valuable contributions during their terms.  

“These leaders have generously shared their time, expertise, and passion in guiding S.U.C.C.E.S.S. forward. Their contributions have strengthened our organization and left a lasting legacy of service to our community,” said Queenie Choo.  

The organization also welcomed incoming Board Chair Phil Bates, along with newly elected Board members Wesley Ma and Christopher Chan. S.U.C.C.E.S.S. was also pleased to welcome back Jim O’Dea to the Board. Together, these leaders bring a wealth of experience, insight, and commitment to supporting the organization’s continued growth and impact. During the Annual General Meeting, Queenie Choo also presented highlights from the organization’s 2025–2026 Impact Report. The report demonstrates the significant reach of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs and services and noted that client satisfaction is exceptionally high.
