Career Pathway for Dietitians & Nutritionists in Ontario

We’re delighted to welcome our guest speaker, a Toronto-based Registered Dietitian and public health professional. She began her nutrition and dietetics education in Türkiye, completed her undergraduate degree at Toronto Metropolitan University, and went on to earn a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto. She has worked in primary care and rehabilitation hospital settings, supporting patients managing diabetes, high cholesterol, and other nutrition-related conditions — and she’s a strong advocate for practical, culturally responsive care and accessible career pathways for internationally educated professionals.

In this session, our guest speaker will share her own journey to registration in Canada, walk through the licensing and employment pathways in Ontario, and answer your questions about breaking into the field.
