S.U.C.C.E.S.S. granted patronage from Her Honour, the Honourable Wendy Cocchia, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia

Vancouver, B.C. – S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is thrilled to announce that Her Honour, the Honourable Wendy Cocchia, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, has graciously accepted the role of Honourary Patron of our non-profit social service agency.

Lieutenant Governor Cocchia brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to public service. She has worked as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and champion for disability rights and services. As the co-founder the Pacific Autism Family Network in British Columbia, she helped create a network providing essential information and services to people who are neurodivergent (including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder) and their families.

Her Honour has also served as Governor of the Business Council of British Columbia, as first female Trustee of the Vancouver Police Foundation, and as Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s youngest female Chair. She is a Fellow of Royal Roads University, a member of the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia and she has received honorary doctorates from the Justice Institute of British Columbia and Vancouver Island University.

Her Honour’s passion for community engagement aligns seamlessly with S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’s mission to empower individuals and families and build a more inclusive Canada for all. In her capacity as Honourary Patron, Lieutenant Governor Cocchia will help elevate our initiatives and amplify the voices of those we serve.

“We welcome Her Honour to the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. community and look forward to seeing her at some of our future community events,” said CEO Queenie Choo. “Her involvement reinforces our agency’s deep commitment to serving the community.”

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. looks forward to working closely with Her Honour, leveraging her insights and ideas to further our mission.
