The 20th Annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raises $135,000 to support community programs
Richmond, B.C. – S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation is thrilled to announce that our 20th Annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raised $135,000 to support community programs.
Now in its 20th year, the tournament held at Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club in Richmond drew more than 140 golfers who played in support of our services. Proceeds from the tournament go to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs to help maintain and enhance services which receive no funding or only partial from the government, such as programs for immigrants, youth, women, families and seniors like our counselling services, seniors’ activities and crisis lines offered in multiple languages.
“I have been inspired to see the vision of our 20th Annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament come to fruition over the past two decades,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation. “This tournament has not only sustained our work with significant contributions, but it has created a vibrant community of likeminded local leaders who believe in being of service to others.”
“Since 2005, the event has raised more than $1.5 million which has enabled S.U.C.C.E.S.S. to continue to offer important community programs to clients in need,” said Jason Lam, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Board Chair. “It is heartwarming to see so many dedicated people and business sponsors come back to support our cause year after year.”
Founding Co-Chair of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, Linda Wong said: “As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Charity Golf Tournament, I am filled with gratitude and pride. What began as a small initiative, co-founded with my dear friend, the late Danny Gaw, has blossomed into a cherished tradition that unites our community in support of those in need. This event reflects the unwavering generosity of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers who have made it all possible. My hope is that this tournament will continue to thrive and bring us together for many more years to come. Thank you for your commitment to this cause and for helping us make a lasting positive impact.”
The 2024 Co-Chairs Lewis Fan and Jeff Louie and 2023 Miss Chinese Vancouver Ms. Isabella Zhai were also in attendance and thanked participants for their dedication to supporting delivery of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. services in our community.

第二十屆中僑基金會慈善高爾夫球賽籌集$135,000 支持社區項目
卑詩省列治文- 中僑基金會很高興宣布第二十屆中僑基金會慈善高爾夫球賽成功籌集了$135,000，善款收益將撥捐中僑互助會支持社區服務。
今年是該賽事第二十年在列治文 Mayfair Lakes 高爾夫鄉村俱樂部舉行，是次活動吸引了超過 140 位高爾夫球手參與。賽事籌得的善款將用於支持中僑基金會未獲得政府資助的社會項目，包括對新移民、青年、婦女、家庭和長者的輔導服務、長者活動以及多國語言的中僑心理輔導熱線。
中僑互助會及中僑基金會行政總裁周潘坤玲女士表示：「最令我感受深刻的，是中僑基金會慈善高爾夫球賽創辦主席王方綺倫女士在二十年前的願景得以實現。這個賽事不僅為我們基金會的服務提供了重要的資助，更匯聚了一班志同道合的社區領袖為需要幫助的人士籌款。」
中僑基金會主席 林頌恩表示：「自二零零五 年以來，該活動已籌集了超過一百五十 萬元。我們收到的慷慨支持使 中僑繼續為社區提供多項的服務。我們很高興看到如此多的企業和個人團隊前來支持，使今年高爾夫錦標賽能再次舉辦成功。」
中僑基金會慈善高爾夫球賽創辦主席王方綺倫女士表示：「中僑慈善高爾夫球賽來到第 二十個年頭，我充滿了感激和自豪。當初與我親愛的已故朋友Danny Gaw共同倡議創辦，如今已經發展成為一個深受珍視的傳統活動，不僅團結了我們的社區，更能支持有需要的人士。這個活動反映了我們的參與者、贊助商和志願者不懈的慷慨，讓一切變成可能。我希望這個賽事能夠繼續繁榮，並在未來的多年裡將我們團結在一起。感謝大家對中僑基金會慈善高爾夫球賽的支持，並一同創造更好的社會。」
