Integrated Employment Training for Women Program

A cohort-based program where racialized, newcomer women can build their literacy and essential skills in their target career sectors as Health Care Assistants, Early Childhood Educators or Event Planners.

Services We Offer

  • 12 weeks intensive sector-specific English workplace language training for Health Care Assistants, Early Childhood Educators and Event Planners
  • Employment services, job search assistance and topic-focused workshops
  • 20 hours of volunteer practicum placement
  • 1 to 1 career planning, coaching and follow-up support
  • Short-term certificates training (WHMIS, First Aid, Super Host, Food Safe and Serving It Right)
  • Financial support for childcare, transportation, counselling, and income support

Service Eligibility

  • Racialized women who are born outside of Canada
  • Naturalized Citizen, Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee
  • Canadian Language Benchmark CLB Level 5 or above
