Better at Home is program that helps seniors with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes, and remain connected to their communities.  The Government of British Columbia funds the program, United Way of the Lower Mainland manages it, and local non-profit organizations provide the services.

Services

SUCCESS and PICS are thrilled to be offering the non-medical services to help support Surrey Whalley seniors remain independent. SUCCESS and PICS will be providing the following Better at Home services:

  • Transportation to Appointments
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Friendly Visits
  • Light Housekeeping

Eligibility
Must be 65 or above and reside in Whalley Community of Surrey

Cost
Priced on a sliding scale according to the individual's income level
